Iran is going to hold international course of qanat for Islamic countries experts on September 27 until October 2 in Yazd province.23 Aug 2010

CHTN- ''The step aims at introducing the methods of digging for qanats, historical record of qanat as well as the role of them in permanent development,'' said manger of International Center for Qanat and Historical hydraulic structure Ali Asghar Ebrahim Yazdi.

The event sponsor by UNESCO regional office and Islamic Development Bank, he added.

The event will be attended both by Iranian and foreign professors, he noted.
