Medical Tourism in Iran: Analysis of Opportunities and Challenges with MADM Approach

Vice president and director of ICHTO announced Iran seek to hold an exhibition in Algeria.29 Jan 2012
CHTN- Seyyed Hassan Mousavi made the remark while visiting Algeria ambassador to Tehran.
''ICHTO is set to hold an exhibition of its tourism and historical attractions in Algeria,'' Seyyed Hassan Mousavi said.
He also referred to Algeria handicrafts exhibition in Tehran and added that, it is propose to form an executive committee in a bid to pursuit agreement between the two sides.
Islamic Republic of Iran has the largest number of sites that inscribed on UNESCO world heritage list among other Islamic countries, Iran is one of pioneer countries in term of both cultural heritage and natural sites, he stressed.
Vice president referred to Algeria potentials and stressed that, Algeria enjoys high potentials in the fields of cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism and the two sides can benefit from their potentials, he remarked.
Iran is willing to share its experiences in renovation and protection of historical sites with Algeria, Mousavi mentioned.
''Unfortunately Western Medias has widespread propaganda against Iran and try to falsify reality about Iran, they seek to show that Iran is not safe country for tourists,'' Ahmadzadeh said.
Ahmadzadeh also urged Algeria ambassador to invite a team from the country Medias in order to introduce real picture of Iranian people to Algerian.
Director of Iran Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism Organization also urged Algeria ambassador to pave the ground for presence of Algerian investors here in Iran.
Algeria benefit from rich culture and the two sides must expand their tie with respect to cultural and religious commonalities, Mousavi continued.
Algeria ambassador for his part expressed his satisfaction from visit and added that unfortunately Western Medias has shown negative image from Iran.
He also referred to Algeria handicrafts week in Iran and added that, a delegation from Algeria has arrived in Iran in order to pave the ground for exhibition.
Iran and Algeria inked 10 memo of understanding last year the most important agreement was the establishment of joint investment fund between the two sides, he stressed.
Algeria ambassador invited vice president and director of Iran cultural heritage, handicrafts and tourism organization to visit Algeria.
